Outlook For U.S. Dollar Supremacy


The U.S. dollar is the world’s dominant currency and its importance far outweighs the relative importance of the U.S. economy. For instance, the United States accounts for roughly 25% of global GDP, but international dollar usage across a range of measures is 80% or higher, everywhere except within Europe.
