Organized labor, once a central part of the American economy, has become increasingly unsustainable.  Since the early ‘80s, natural market forces have clearly pointed to the extinction of unions in the private sector, but only recently has it become clear that the same thing must also happen in the public sector.  What’s driving this reversal of fortune?  What are the implications?  How is it likely to play out?  We’ll provide the answers.
